No Motherly Instinct!

Have you noticed how many grandparents are raising their grandkids these days?

Seems every where you look kids are being dumped, literally!!!!

Children are Gods gift to us! The most precious asset on this earth and the only asset we can take to Heaven with us!

It breaks my heart to see so many of these children being aborted or abused by their supposed to be protectors! (Their mothers and fathers. ) These parents seems to be focused on one thing, THEMSELVES!!!

If you don’t want to be responsible for these little ones don’t have them!!!! And I’m not talking about aborting them!!

You have a choice before starting THEIR life!!

I get so tired of hearing the pro-choice people saying a woman has the choice to do what she wants with her own body.

I totally agree! She has the choice when it is only her body they are talking about. She had a choice before someone else’s body was being formed inside her own! Now it’s not only her body, it is their body! Hers and the child she allowed to be conceived. Some will say what about the one who was forced to conceive? That child still has a right to life just as you and I. There are other ways of dealing with that situation other than abortion.

What has happened to our mothers today? I believe the blame is on us, the mothers and fathers.

We have allowed God to be pushed out of our children’s lives. We have been so focused on trying to provide material things and haven’t ingrained Gods Word into their lives like we should have!

Yes we can say, “We prayed every night before bed, we took them to church, we prayed before we ate.” All that is good and better than not doing it, but was it something you lived before your children? I know that has not always been the case with me.

I look back and think if I could have been totally committed to God and his word and lived how he would have had me to live while my children were growing up. It would have been much easier for them to be the people God intended them to be.

I thank God that He is a merciful God and my children are wonderful children. They love their children and take very good care of them and they each know where their hope lies.  (I pray for them each day!)

There is so much more I have on my mind about this subject but I am really tired and will finish later.

Until next time, when I cross your mind would you please pray for me and I will do the same for you!!

A Little Absolute Truth

I have written several things over the past few years on paper but never shared with anyone.

My hope is that it can be of some help to someone.

The title to this article might sound as though to some that I myself think I have the absolute truth and think I know the absolute truth about this life. Trust me I know I haven’t got the answers to all problems but I know someone who does. Without Gods’ guidance none of us have it!

So here I go.

A few years ago I was trying to help an individual that was going through a lot of health and emotional problems, but the more I tried it seemed the more they shut down to any advice I had that I knew could make a positive difference. You see, I know with the right food, exercise, drinking water instead of drinks all the time, getting enough rest, the right attitude and all the other things we know to do and just don’t do it, will make us feel better physically and emotionally. (Not to say I do all these things but I do try.) Since then I have come to understand there are just some people that doesn’t want to be helped. They had rather grumble and complain and act as though they are the only ones in the world with a problem! No matter how much you care for someone until they want to take responsibility for themselves and their own life’s problems there is nothing you can do but pray for them and trust that God will open their eyes to what steps they need to take to help themselves.

I also have come to an understanding that if we have people in our lives that are always trying to pull at our heartstrings with their problems, normally it is just a way to control us. They love to hear pity in our voice and see concern on our faces. They really are not interested in what kind of problems and pain we might be going through. Actually, they are so concerned with themselves it doesn’t ever seem to occur to them they might be putting a load on you that might interfere with your life, your family and your health.

It’s wonderful to have someone we can talk to, share things with and pray with but, I truly believe if we care for someone other than ourselves we will try to encourage them instead of always trying to pull them down in a hole with us.

Said all that to say this, I myself have to take responsibility for my health, my problems–what ever they might be. I believe if I will talk to God more and let him be my first person to run to, a lot of my problems will become so small that I will not need to burden others with them.

Have you ever stopped stood still and really think of what life is all about?

Have you ever wondered if how you perceive things are the way they truly are, or are the way you perceive things only true because of the way you were brought up or fashioned around the area in which you live?

Do you believe there is an absolute truth? Can we look at a situation, a problem and solve it with the absolute truth or are we going to always try to make people see things our way? Are we defensive if someone has another point of view? Are we not willing to at least put a little thought into it?

In Proverbs Chapter 1 Verse 5 it says, “A wise man will hear, and will increase in learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels.”

What are “wise counsels”? I believe it is being shown a way by someone who has come to the end of themselves. They have come to an understanding that God has designed a way of life that works to the benefit of man if lived according to his design. There are three sides (or dimensions) to man–the physical, emotional and spiritual.

So, in this article we will look at some of the physical side. He made us flesh and blood and it takes certain things to make our bodies function properly. According to – ga.water.usgs.gov/edu/propertyyou.html- the human body is 60% water, the brain is 70%. So it stands to reason if we don’t drink enough water our bodies will not function properly. That is an absolute truth!!

True, our bodies can go for some time if we don’t drink the right kind of fluids (water) but rest assured if we continue on that path we will pay the price!

Food: This is a subject that is so hard to talk about with so many people. They get so defensive when you say “I don’t know of anyone who eats right.” You hear “I eat pretty good”, “I eat better than most people” or “I think you’re gonna go when it’s your time”. But the absolute truth is there is a right and a wrong way to eat and most of us do the wrong!

OK, here’s my question to people who doesn’t even want to “attain” to wise counsels. Do you believe that if a car designer designs a car, knowing exactly how and what it takes for you to get longevity and good service from the car and you do otherwise, what can you expect? It won’t stop that car from working immediately but over time things will go wrong.

The same goes for our bodies. If we are constantly eating junk, meats, breads and drinks and not enough fruits and vegetables things are gonna clog up after a while. And when our digestive system starts backing up from not enough BMs things start to go wrong with other parts of our system.

According to health experts our bodies need 35 grams of fiber a day, the average person only gets about 10 or 12 and this is if they eat what is according to be right by most people. Some even gets much less! If you would like to see a change in how you feel, eat enough fiber, drink your water, exercise if possible and let nature take its course.

Exercise: Man this is a tough one also. Now days it seems we are all so caught up in trying to survive there never seems to be enough time to do more than we have to. If you’re like me it really takes a lot of determination to get in any kind of exercise program. But if our bodies are to move to there most capable limits we have to keep our bodies moving if at all possible. So, according to your capability, devise an exercise program that gets your body moving. Start slow then work your way up to 30 or 40 minutes 3 times a week or more if you feel like it.

The absolute truth of this is if we stop or just slow down just because we don’t feel good or feel like doing something, our bodies will start to freeze up. The more you sit of lay the worse you will feel. I realize there are people who have physical or health problems that keep them from doing things but I’m not talking to those, I’m talking to those of us who can get up, walk, and move around. But all you hear from them is I just don’t feel like doing anything.

When are you gonna get it? All it takes is trying, so give it a try! Sometimes we have to force ourselves–I’ve had days when it seemed that it was all I could do to make myself breath. We’re all human and sometimes we all want to quit. But the absolute truth of this is it’s not all about us. The decisions we make affect others around us. If we never take care of our bodies we start to get sick and have health and mental problems. So guess what? The people that cares about us are gonna have to suffer right along with us. Is that selfish or what?

If I can be of any help, I have a few resources I could share with you. Just leave a comment on how to get back with you.

Till the next time, take care and….

May God be with you!!!!
